True to her namesake, Flora Bellus Day was a child of the flowers.
Her mother’s bountiful garden was her playground and classroom, where her mother wove fifteen tales unique to a particular blossom, each one elucidating a shortcoming of human nature as well as the transforming grace of God, to guide her daughter on the path of wisdom and faith.
Flora, now a woman advanced in years, shares her mother’s stories, a bouquet of fairy tales inspired by Christian truths, meant to inspire, challenge, and comfort believers of all ages, stages, and walks of faith and of life,
to see beyond the visible world and experience life as God intends.

Book One
In this book, Flora shares four stories that explore the struggles of loneliness, guilt, fear and anxiety, and disheartenment. Like tiny seeds, the heroines of these tales have a great destiny awaiting them, but they also face many perils and snares that can prevent them from ever sprouting. And it is only by discovering God’s omnipresence, forgiveness, love, and encouragement that they can overcome the obstacles and flourish.
